Executive A&R
DJ Celsius is the executive A&R at Order of Love music. He is also an open format DJ and hip hop artist from Brooklyn, New York. He is currently half of the successful hip hop/pop duo Soho Kings. Their music has been reviewed positively by The Source Magazine, Funk Flex, and DJ Enuff, just to name a few. As Soho Kings traveled the country performing, DJ Celsius’s onstage experience grew and flourished. It was at this time, due to his love and knowledge of a wide range of music, as well as encouragement from business partner and Soho Kings collaborator Bryce Alvord, that he began to take DJing more seriously. Fast forward to the present, and DJ Celsius has spun at some of Manhattan’s most frequented hot spots such as Pianos, Stanton Social, Mercury Lounge, and Webster Hall. He currently holds residencies at Bushwick’s Lot 45 and Williamsburg’s Huckleberry Bar, all while continuing to create and release original music as a Soho Kings member and tour the country. This dual work load is what gives DJ Celsius a unique advantage and musical insight. Being an artist as well as a DJ allows for a deeper emotional connection to the crowd during sets. It’s this connection that DJ Celsius plans to spread worldwide through the release of his upcoming Chill Factor playlists and Chill Factor podcast. With new Soho Kings music, bigger shows, bigger parties, and podcasts on the way, DJ Celsius looks to continue to take the city, the country, and the world by storm.
